42- 44k salary with large amounts of overtime available - 50k plus OTE Callout is 1 week in 6 at £175 retainer, and 4 hours paid if called Mon to Fri Covering Scotland's central belt Here at ISS, as one of the UK's largest Facilities Management (FM) providers, we are looking to expand our engineering workforce dedicated against a major account in the utilities sector. The account consists of corporate offices, depots, and small infrastructure buildings, where we complete electrical, mechanical, and fabric maintenance services plus small project/install work. You will focus on Mechanical and HVAC related maintenance, both planned and reactive, completing jobs from plumbing to air conditioning, as well as working on pumps, motors, water cooling systems, and more, plus some minor fabric work. There is also plenty of project work to support on, some of which can be taken as overtime. Your region to cover will be Scotland's central belt, with some irregular travel further afield, focusing on Glasgow, Livingston, Falkirk, and Edinburgh. This role best suits a qualified Mechanical Engineer with some maintenance experience, keen to develop their career with a world-class employer, and willing to take some overtime (1 weekend a month). Actions will include: Undertake day-to-day PPM and reactive maintenance of client sites to ensure functionality, compliance, and efficient operation. Ensure that routine maintenance is carried out on all building plant, equipment, and systems to meet and exceed expectations and agreed service level agreements. Maintain all mechanical systems to required standards. Ensure water systems comply with the requirements of the L8 ACOP. Maintain compliance of equipment and detailed record keeping for all tasks. Ensure suitable spares are available for maintenance. Issue permits to work for high-risk activities and ensure appropriate controls are adhered to. Prepare Method Statements and Risk Assessments for all tasks to ensure safe working practices. Provide a safe & healthy working environment and ensure compliance with all Company and Client policies and procedures. Contribute to a call-out rota for the mobile team by being available for call-out when designated. We need from you: Mechanical qualifications and some maintenance experience.
