About the role

Weare looking for a Shift Manager to join us in our FacilitiesDepartment.

Reporting to the Facilities Manager, theShift Manager will be responsible for ensuring daily operationalplans are fulfilled by ensuring that relevant tasks and objectivesare being carried out by the team and that team are in the rightplace at the right time to ensure we can manage fluctuating guestdemand whilst keeping operational standards and guest experiencehigh. 
 
Youwill support and coach the team to ensure the deliver a greatexperience and are also completing  both planned and reactivemaintenance work in a timely manner. You will carry out works forall our entertainment venues, restaurants, bars and public areas ofthe resort both internally and externally. Having specialism inelectrical, plumbing or working at heights may be an advantage.Knowledge of up to date health and safety policies isbeneficial. 
 
Thisrole covers a 5-day working week over 7 days including weekends, soflexibility is very important. As with all roles at Butlin’s, noday will be the same and you will need to enjoy thinking on yourfeet, getting stuck in, and ensuring that our guest experience isalways your number onepriority.

We are looking for anexperienced leader from within a maintenance environment that cansupport the team to deliver fantastic service. Putting the guestsfirst in everything you do, you will have experience in trainingand coaching the team in a fun-filled environment to deliver anexcellence experience.

You should have previous experience inleading within a busy facilities or maintenance environment where abalance of efficiency and quality isimportant.

You should be confident to direct andrespond in any situation whilst delivering consistent brandstandards. The ability to lead, motivate and engage your team, evenat periods of high demand is important, as well as being able tomanage multiple priorities and adapt quickly to changingrequirements. 

Withstrong leadership skills, you should be confident in inspiring yourteam to deliver amazing results for our teams and guests everyday.
