Factory Manager (Food) | North Down This is a hugely exciting time to be joining our leading Food Manufacturing Client - who produce the most delicious range of products - based in North Down with the appointment of new Factory Manager. Part of the Senior Leadership Team, the Factory Manager has overall responsibility for the Planning, Co-ordination and Management of Production, Goods Inwards and Distribution (Supply Chain) activity in the factory. The role is responsible for ensuring product and processes are manufactured and managed efficiently, safely, that levels of stockholding meet customer service KPI's and are compliant with business inventory levels. The Factory Manager is also accountable for all relevant Factory KPI's, ensuring Health & Safety, Food Safety and Quality standards are achieved, as well as leading Lean Manufacturing principles and tools across the Factory to drive continuous improvement and implementing stretch manufacturing KPI's, such as OEE, waste, downtime to improve factory productivity and cost effectiveness. Proven leadership experience within a food production environmenty Strong organisational, planning and time-management ability Strong knowledge of food hygiene and legislative requirements. Excellent communication and people skills Highly proficient in MS Office and manufacturing stock control system Desirable H&S Qualification, Food Hygiene qualification, Manual Handling, Chemical Handling, Forklift License Your next step...
