We’re committed to providing our customers with the best products and delivering a first-class experience every time they enjoy a Huel product. Our Technical team plays a vital role in this mission, ensuring that our Hueligans receive real food made with the highest quality ingredients.
To help ensure that food safety and quality are maintained at our new manufacturing site, we’re now looking for a Factory QA to join us based in Milton Keynes.
There are 2 shift patterns that you could work across. These times are 6am - 3pm and 1pm - 10pm. Here’s an insight into your day-to-day. Daily Start Up Checks; ensuring the factory is to the right standard before production begins Daily CCP Review - sieve inspections, metal detection and X Ray audits to be conducted Swabbing as per schedule ensuring the factory is clean and meeting high standards required Cleaning verification and sign off key equipment within the factory, logging and resolving any corrective actions Weekly checks on factory processes such as chemical titration and scale verifications Reviewing any foreign body findings and investigating the root causes (such as raw materials and bag opening) Quality testing and validation on our product lines as well as sensory sign off of the products we have produced Label process inspection to ensure the right labels are on the right products Regular internal audits; such as glass & hard plastics and fabrication audits, as well as GMP - everything in its place such as shadow boards, gloves and cleaning tools We are working towards paperless, but supporting printing and collecting all paperwork ready for production until we get there! 100% Factory presence ensuring standards are correct and pushing for improvements Management of the lab ensuring stock of swabs, consumables and area is clear and tidy Not yet sure if this is the right role for you? What we're looking for in you
Experience working within food and drink manufacturing sectors is a must for this role Ideally, you’ll have a food science degree or will have 1-2 years of experience working within this field. It would be great if you’ve some experience of BRC or a GFSI accreditation standard You’ll be driven, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment as part of a team as well as independently Ideally proven track record of raising standards with an understanding of good auditing skills and experience in risk assessments And as always...We’re looking for new Hueligans who thrive in a high-performance environment and are driven by an unwavering pursuit of excellence. We want individuals who aren’t afraid to think outside the box.
