Job Title: Factory/Purchasing Manager Salary: £40-43k depending on experience Contract/Hours: Permanent, 40hrs pw, including every 3rd Saturday Based: Kington, Herefordshire (HR5) Excellent opportunity for a Factory/Purchasing Manager to join a well-established company We are recruiting a Factory/Purchasing Manager to start as soon as possible. This role will be based at the company headquarters in Kington, Herefordshire. Attendance every third Saturday is required to review and assist with work activities by the Saturday team, with time off in lieu provided. You will work for a well-known electrical installation company that employs around 50 staff, specializing in the installation of LV and ELV electrical systems for the water and waste-water sector. As the Factory/Purchasing Manager, you will oversee the Production Planner, 4 Panel Builders, and 2 Site Support Assistants to ensure customer delivery targets and quality are met, while managing logistics for site materials, vehicles, and hire equipment. Responsibilities include raising orders to suppliers, negotiating favorable costs and delivery terms, and identifying potential new suppliers. This role requires close collaboration with the Design Manager and site Contract and Project Managers.
