Factory/Purchasing Manager Salary:

Kington, Herefordshire (HR5) Excellent opportunity for a Factory/Purchasing Manager to join a well-established company. We are recruiting a Factory/Purchasing Manager to start as soon as possible. This role will be based in Kington, Herefordshire, and will require attendance every third Saturday to review/assist work activities by the Saturday team. Time off in lieu will be provided. You will be working for a well-known and well-respected electrical installation company that employs around 50 staff. The company specializes in the installation of LV and ELV electrical systems for the water and waste-water sector. As the Factory/Purchasing Manager, you will oversee the Production Planner and 4 x Panel Builders, as well as 2 x Site Support Assistants, to ensure customer delivery targets and quality are met. Additionally, you will manage the logistics of site materials, vehicles, and hire equipment to meet site deadlines. You will also be responsible for raising orders to suppliers, negotiating favorable costs and delivery terms, and identifying and assessing potential new suppliers. This will involve close collaboration with the Design Manager and site Contract and Project Managers. Essential Skills/Qualifications
Experience in purchasing and cost negotiation Management experience Able to work as part of a team to achieve common goals Good communication skills, including excellent written and spoken English Desirable Skills
Familiar with CRM system (Eque2 preferable) Experience in carrying out KPIs and managing staff performance Experience in Quality Control Health & Safety awareness Previous experience in an engineering/manufacturing production company Benefits
