Local Government Pension Scheme, Excellent Training and Development Opportunities (supported with a dedicated budget) 24 days annual leave rising to 30 after 5 years (plus Bank Holiday and Christmas closure) FACULTY CENTRE ADMINISTRATOR Permanent, 37 hours a week Salary: £23,644 – £25,234 Location: Newcastle-under-Lyme and Stafford This is an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated, enthusiastic and suitably qualified individual with excellent communication and organisational skills to take on this role within the English and Maths Department. Reporting directly to the Director of English and Maths, you will be responsible for providing a comprehensive support service to staff throughout the department. Main Duties and Responsibilities: Act as the initial point of contact for all enquiries from students, parents and English and maths teachers. Handle cash where appropriate complying with the College’s Financial Regulations. Support the Director of English and Maths with the planning and coordination of GCSE and Functional skills exams, assessments, and mocks exams. Assist the Director of English and maths with the planning of student timetables and tracking of enrolments. Check data received from Information Services regarding student numbers, retention and achievement on course. Required Skills and Experience: Good standard of education qualified to level 3 or equivalent and willingness to undertake any relevant professional development. Previous experience of working in a varied administrative and secretarial role with outstanding organisational skills. Confident manner and able to communicate effectively at all levels showing professionalism to visitors and guests. What’s in it for you?
