The Faculty of Science and Health is looking to appoint a dedicated individual who wishes to explore a career as a Faculty Technical Manager by joining the existing Faculty Technical team. As a senior member of the Faculty’s technical team, the successful candidate will manage and provide a significant contribution to a broad range of technical services within the Faculty of Science and Health supporting teaching, research, innovation and commercial activities; as well as having direct line management responsibility for all technical staff within their area. The role will be predominantly based within the Institute of Marine Science (IMS) in providing facilities support for the Marine Science provision within the Faculty. The successful candidate should demonstrate professionalism, good communication skills, an ability to organise and prioritise workload and a commitment to providing support to enhance the service we provide to the research and teaching activities of the Faculty is essential.
