Circa £60,000 commensurate with skills and experience. What you’ll be doing: Under the general direction of the Head of Security – FalconWorks, the role will lead on Governance and Assurance which will cover the secure operation and associated compliance with all UK and partner security standards, across all areas of business supported by the Line of business (LoB). Work with multiple complex stakeholders, devising and delivering a portfolio of assurance activities, aligned to governance as part of the annual assurance and/or audit programme across the LoB, to prevent damage, loss or compromise of assets across the Physical, Personnel, Technical and Cyber domains of security. Support the development and implementation of concise processes, that enable the LoB security function and wider function to be risk informed and intelligence led. Support the establishment and management of a central security compliance and assurance “network” to provide guidance and instruction across the LoB and wider Air UK BAE Systems businesses. Develop and implement operational assurance and governance measures that are proportionate and enable LoB to be agile and achieve its operational priorities. Maintain a number of key stakeholder relationships with senior managers across LoB, Sector and Group security functions. Support Head of Security in driving security culture, behaviours and communication across LoB. Your skills and experiences: Essential: In-depth knowledge of His Majesty’s Government (HMG) and industry standard security policy, standards and good practice guidance. Experience and/or knowledge of risk identification mitigation and management techniques. Ability to consume and analyse large quantities of complex information from varied sources, produce high-quality coherent, concise, relevant written products and have the ability to deliver high quality presentations and verbal briefs in keeping with those written products. Desirable: Proven experience of managing and maintaining governance mechanisms, working across multiple stakeholders to develop and integrate robust governance (plans, processes, procedures, policies etc.). Proven experience of leading compliance and assurance activities within any regulated sectors (or commercial organisations bound by HMG standards). Trusted and established network of cross government stakeholder relationships.
