0-18 Family First Case Manager . In this rewarding role, you will support families with complex, interacting needs, helping them achieve positive outcomes such as improved school attendance, better family relationships, and reduced risk-taking behaviour. You will work closely with families, using a holistic and multi-disciplinary approach to assess needs, coordinate services, and deliver targeted interventions. This role offers the opportunity to implement innovative programs and practices, all while ensuring the voice of the child is central to your work. 36 hours per week 3 month initial contract with possibility of extension after this

Responsibilities

Conduct holistic Early Help assessments and develop outcome-focused family plans using the Signs of Safety/Wellbeing model. Act as the Lead Professional, coordinating multi-agency services to meet family needs. Deliver evidence-based interventions, including parenting programs, child development support, and issue-based sessions for children and families. Facilitate the Team Around the Family process, ensuring timely reviews and progress monitoring. Promote family strengths using restorative practices and a "Think Family" approach. Maintain accurate records and contribute to service evaluation and practice improvement. Work flexibly, including occasional evenings and weekends, to meet the needs of families.

Requirements

Proven experience in working with families and children with complex needs. Strong understanding of multi-agency working and knowledge of interventions supporting family well-being. Ability to deliver parenting programs and support families through individual and group sessions. Excellent communication and organisational skills, with a focus on safeguarding and risk management. Commitment to equality, diversity, and the principles of restorative practice. Flexibility to work across Knowsley in various settings, including homes, schools, and community venues.
