- Provide strategic and operational leadership for Family Group Conferencing, Family Mediation, and Family Network Meeting services.
- Ensure Family Group Conferences are delivered in accordance with national standards, legislation, and best practice.
- Ensure children, young people, and family members have meaningful participation in planning and decision-making processes.
- Ensure safeguarding responsibilities remain central to all aspects of service delivery.
- Ensure accurate recording, reporting, and case management practices.
- Ensure services operate within agreed financial frameworks.
Skills and requirements
- Professional Social Work qualification (Degree, DipSW, CQSW, or equivalent recognised qualification).
- Extensive knowledge of children's social care legislation, statutory guidance, and safeguarding frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Family Group Conferencing principles and family-led decision-making approaches.
- Significant post-qualification experience working with children, young people, and families within safeguarding or family support services.
