A reputable law firm based in Newton-le-Willows is seeking a Family Lawyer to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and experienced solicitor to manage a solely private family law caseload within a supportive and forward-thinking firm. Key Responsibilities: Manage a varied caseload of private family matters, including but not limited to divorce, financial remedy, child arrangements, and cohabitation disputes. Provide expert legal advice to clients on a range of family law issues, ensuring a high standard of client care at all times. Conduct negotiations, prepare legal documents, and represent clients in court where necessary. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of family law and legislative developments to ensure the best outcomes for clients. Handle cases from inception to conclusion, managing all aspects of legal processes and documentation. Work closely with colleagues and clients to provide clear, practical advice, with the aim of resolving cases efficiently and amicably where possible. Contribute to the firm's business development efforts and support the team in enhancing client relationships. Requirements: c. 3+ years PQE or equivalent experience in private family law. Strong knowledge of private family matters, including divorce, financial settlements, and child arrangements. Excellent communication and client care skills, with the ability to provide practical and empathetic advice Ability to manage a busy caseload independently while maintaining attention to detail.
