Family Liaison Officer , you will be working alongside the Senior Leadership Team with the expectation that you can use your initiative and take a proactive approach in communicating with parents. We want you to be visible and available for parents to talk to. Your role will include: Setting up and maintaining coffee mornings, information, and training sessions. Identifying and working with families where attendance is, or could be, an issue. Attending parents' meetings throughout the year. Supporting the work of the PTFA at events they run. Liaising with a range of professionals, including police and social services. Being one of the named members of staff with responsibility for safeguarding. We seek someone with flexibility, the ability to stay calm under pressure, and a good sense of humour. You must possess good communication skills, the ability to listen without judging, and the strength to deliver hard messages when necessary. Visits to the school are welcomed. Please make an appointment with the school office. This post is for 27.5 hours per week, spread over 5 days a week during term time, from 8.30 AM to 2.30 PM every day.
