Newington Community Primary School is looking to appoint an experienced Family Liaison Officer to work within our committed and hardworking Welfare Team. This full-time position will involve working closely with our families to ensure the best possible provision for our children. Working hours will be 8am - 4pm Monday to Thursday and 8am to 3.30pm on a Friday, term time only. The need to build effective relationships with our families is essential so that partnership working enables all children to thrive during their time at Newington. The role requires dedication, commitment, and a proactive mindset to ensure that any barriers to learning and attendance are removed with compassion and support at the heart of all we do. The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with a range of people, as well as working as part of a team, is essential. Each day in a school is different, and therefore the skills to be adaptable and flexible are also essential.
