Due to expansion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a family Paralegal to join our award-winning firm. We are looking for a paralegal to support and assist fee earners in our highly experienced childcare team. The ideal candidate will have an established background in family law, particularly public law care proceedings, and be proficient in case management systems, court, and legal aid portals. The role requires attendance in the office during the week supporting our fee earners but can be situated in one of our 4 offices. General Responsibilities: Working within the team supporting fee earners in the child care team. Dealing with administration of files including CMS with the legal aid agency. We work in a 100% paperless environment. Liaising with chambers, solicitors, and other professional partners. Support and assist Solicitors where needed. Dealing with clients and associated 3rd parties. The role requires the following: Relevant experience in family law as a paralegal. Excellent customer service and communication skills in person, by email, and by phone. Computer literate with relevant experience in Microsoft Office and software as a service cloud applications. Bell Lamb & Joynson runs a cloud-based case management system and operates a paperless office. Ability to work alone and as part of a team and contribute positively to department targets.
