We are seeking a permanent, full-time Family Paralegal/Legal Secretary for our busy Leeds office to join our expanding team. Your Profile:

You will preferably: Have some experience working as a legal secretary or paralegal, ideally within family and childcare law. Demonstrate a genuine interest in Family law. Possess strong organisational skills. Have the ability to work under pressure and manage competing deadlines. Display fast and accurate typing skills. Exhibit clear and precise written and verbal communication skills. Key Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate will: Provide the highest level of client care in the management of client matters. Offer administrative and legal support to Fee Earners and Senior Team Members. Type from digital dictation or copy typing to produce accurate documentation. Manage files effectively, including electronic filing and compliance with office procedures. Attend clients to take notes, as well as liaise with internal and external parties such as local authorities, Police, medical professionals, Courts, and experts. Assist with preparing Court bundles, including collating and redacting large documents. Complete public funding applications and manage CCMS legal aid matters. Keep appointment diaries for Fee Earners and arrange meetings as required. Handle telephone calls and correspondence with clients, Counsel, and other third parties professionally. Process fee notes, expert invoices, and other administrative tasks as needed. Ensure adherence to the firm’s practice manual and compliance protocols. Working With Us:
