Family Safeguarding - Team Manager
Somerset County Council are looking to expand their current team. The Family Safeguarding team is seeking a Team Manager to join a well-structured and organized team. This Family Safeguarding Team Manager role will be for an initial 3-6 months with potential for extension subject to internal circumstances and your performance.
Responsibilities Include:
You will be joining a permanent management team to cover temporary absence and will be part of a team focused on relationship-based and strengths-based management. Team Managers work collaboratively across the service to provide excellent service to families while supporting and developing our teams. You'll be encouraged to be an autonomous manager, supported by your colleagues and line manager. You'll lead a Family Safeguarding team that is fully staffed, with a balance of experienced and newly qualified workers. You will work with skilled adult-focused practitioners and maintain positive relationships with managers from agencies involved in our Family Safeguarding model. Workers in our Family Safeguarding teams received positive feedback during our last Ofsted inspection and team diagnostics for their proactive and thoughtful support to children and their families and the quality of their care planning. Requirements / Experience preferred:
HCPC Registration 1-2 years post-qualifying experience within the UK Social Care industry Enhanced DBS/CRB (we can obtain for you) Eligibility to work in the UK Benefits of working with Ackerman Pierce:
