Family Solicitor – Stafford An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Solicitor to join and further develop a thriving, privately funded family law department at a well-established firm in Stafford. This full-time role is predominantly office-based, with the potential for flexibility of up to one day working from home. The Firm This reputable firm, with a strong presence across the West Midlands, is known for its commitment to delivering high-quality legal services. Each office has a dedicated family team, with the department head based in Birmingham. The Stafford office offers a supportive environment with the opportunity to grow and shape the local family law offering. The Role As the Family Solicitor in the Stafford office, you will be the sole family law practitioner, stepping into a role that has become available due to a replacement. You will be responsible for maintaining and expanding the firm's privately funded family law services, building strong relationships with clients, and actively participating in business development activities to enhance the department’s profile in the area. The Candidate To be successful in this role, you will: Be a qualified solicitor with at least 5 years’ PQE in family law Possess strong commercial awareness and a proactive approach to case management Have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision Be enthusiastic about business development and networking to grow the department What’s on Offer This position offers a high degree of autonomy and the chance to play a key role in the expansion of the family law department.
