Highly-regarded law firm in London is looking to recruit a Family Solicitor or Barrister of 2 or more years’ PQE/Call. The team undertakes complex, high-value family law matters for high-net-worth and ultra-high-net worth individuals and they collaborate with other relevant departments in the firm to provide a highly bespoke Family law service. Protecting the interests of families lies at the heart of what they do and this may involve providing the right advice to help manage relationships or assisting high-net-worth family governance by utilising a multi-faceted and flexible approach.
In addition to providing more orthodox family law advice, the team also assists clients in other areas such as reputation management, tax, immigration, trusts, wills, and education as well as matters involving property, art and other luxury assets. They also work closely with third party professionals to provide the best possible relevant advice depending on the circumstances. Because of the nature of their clients, where relationships break down, this not only affects a family but also third parties, including corporations and trustees, many of whom are international (meaning the team often deals with cross-border issues when providing overall solutions).

Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements Cohabitation agreements Divorce and dissolution of civil partnerships Financial remedies on divorce/dissolution, including dealing with family businesses, complex trust structures and international issues Disputes concerning the arrangements for children, including applications for leave to remove Relationship breakdown of unmarried couples, including cohabitee disputes under TLATA 1996 and applications for financial relief on behalf of a child under Schedule 1 Children Act 1989 Domestic abuse, including applications for non-molestation orders and occupation orders, and issues concerning coercive control. The ideal Solicitor or Barrister candidate will currently be working in a well-regarded family law practice (if you’re a solicitor) or a tenant in chambers which is well-regarded for the work it does in Family law (if you’re a barrister).
