An opportunity has arisen within the Children’s Services Locality Team for a Family Time Worker with proven experience of working with and delivering services/programmes to children, parents, and carers. You will be responsible for supporting supervised family time arrangements as agreed by referral and review, ensuring that family time sessions are planned and supported to meet the needs of the child(ren) in question and support parents in developing their relationship and interactions with their children to ensure that family time sessions are as positive as possible for the child(ren). Essential criteria for the role includes: A relevant Level 3 (or above) professional qualification in Health and Social Care, Early Years, Education (e.g. H&SC, CCLD, NNEB, EYCE). Safeguarding Level 1 and 2. Ability to engage effectively with a range of professionals and agencies to promote partnership working. An understanding of the needs of children who are looked after and/or in need of protection. Access to a vehicle for work purposes is a requirement. Thorough pre-employment screening is undertaken during the recruitment process. The post holder will be required to complete an application for a Disclosure of Criminal Records.
