The Opportunity The Family Violence - Economic Harm Specialist role is important to our Mission and strategy. Many women in Aotearoa experience family violence; it can cause significant harm to women and their families and hold them back from living their full lives. Experience in casework or advocacy for individuals affected by family violence, demonstrating a strong understanding of the complexities and sensitivities involved. Background in financial mentoring, budget advising, debt counselling, or supporting customers in hardship situations, with a focus on helping clients regain financial stability. Experience working with diverse cultures and communities, demonstrating cultural competency and a deep understanding of the unique needs of these clients. Experience in a predominantly phone and email-based role (as opposed to face-to-face interaction) is desirable but not essential. You’re passionate about our mission and resonate with our values of justice, zeal, audacity, and respect. You have a commitment to social justice and advocacy for marginalized communities and know we can do better by them. You have the confidence and courage to be bold in your thinking and push for the highest service delivery for our community. What next?
