Create an ambient studio environment for the workshop, setting the music up & preparing the projects that will be offered during the workshop (there will be a choice of a few options).
Art Workshop Leadership:
Lead engaging and inspiring art workshops, catering to various skill levels and a wide diverse range of ages. Foster a positive and encouraging environment, sparking creativity and experimentation among attendees.
Clean-up:
Maintain high cleanliness standards by tidying up the studio after each class, leaving a welcoming space for the next session.
Teaching and Encouragement:
Support children to complete their art projects, offering guidance, and encouraging them to explore their creativity whilst having fun. Midway through the workshop, it may require a shake break or mini dance party to release extra energy! Requirements: Minimum of a second-year student in an Art-related university course.
Strong proficiency in various art mediums, including watercolour, acrylics, and air-dried clay.
Proven experience working with children from Year 1 (aged 5-6) and upwards.
Positive, proactive, and customer-service-oriented attitude.
Qualifications: Art A level and Foundation (desired). DBS check (cost covered by the self-employed person, facilitated by art-K). Training: 2 sessions shadowing/assisting family workshops prior to you leading your first family workshop. How to Apply:
