It may be the perfect opportunity if you: Are a kind, caring person Are looking for a career in care or transitioning into care from a different sector Would like free training to help you gain a job in social care The scheme works with more than 20 care providers in the Vale and offers roles with the Vale of Glamorgan Council. course, a 3-day online training provided by WeCare Wales. Once you’ve successfully completed this course, you can return to us to sign up for further training tailored to your needs. The additional training available through Fast Track to Care includes: Emergency First Aid Medication Awareness Infection Control Once you’ve completed the

Introduction to Social Care

course with WeCare Wales, you can start applying for jobs immediately through their Guaranteed Interview Scheme. Alternatively, you can sign up for further training through the Vale of Glamorgan Council, where we will continue to assist you in finding a role in the care sector. This support includes access to tailored training and guidance to help you secure a position that suits your skills and preferences. During the Programme, You Will Receive:

Accredited training that aligns with your preferred job role A mentor to guide and support you Candidate matching to ensure the opportunities meet your needs and skills Post-programme support to aid your transition into employment Applications are now being welcomed for the January 2025 intake.
