We are seeking two skilled and adaptable Cloud Engineers to join a high-performing team on a long-term engagement. This role involves maintaining, monitoring, and securing cloud infrastructure, designing scalable solutions, and collaborating on cloud architecture and migration strategies. Candidates must hold Australian citizenship with a minimum of Baseline Security Clearance.
Responsibilities
Maintain and monitor cloud infrastructure to ensure high availability, reliability, and optimal performance.
Proactively resolve issues, perform maintenance, and enforce security compliance.
Implement access controls, encryption, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and document resolutions.
Design scalable and secure cloud solutions tailored to business needs.
Collaborate on cloud architecture development and strategic planning.
Plan and execute cloud migration strategies to streamline processes.
Requirements
At least 3 years of hands-on experience in cloud design, deployment, configuration, and optimization.
Proficiency with IaaS and PaaS solutions in medium to large-scale enterprise environments.
Expertise in infrastructure, databases, and application system design and operation.
Proficient in IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools such as Terraform, Ansible, AWS CDK, Azure ARM, and Kubernetes.
Strong scripting skills using Perl, Python, and PowerShell.
Experience with source code management using GIT.
Broad IT knowledge, including backups, storage, system administration, data protection, information security, and CI / CD tools.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with excellent attention to detail.
Ability to mentor and share knowledge with teammates.
Competitive salary range : AUD 120,000 - 150,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
