Food and Beverage Assistants As a F&B assistant your key responsibilities include : To report for duty punctually at the time specified on the weekly rota, in full uniform in accordance with the Image Standards. To prepare all Mise-en-Place in accordance with the duty rota. To undertake all cleaning duties as specified in cleaning rota. To understand all items on the menu, including recipes, accompaniments, and service. To be familiar with all alcoholic beverages available from the bar their correct service in accordance with Weights and Measures Act 1985. To be familiar with all items on the wine list. To take food and beverage orders. To correctly serve guests at tables, food and beverage items. To be able to advise and recommend food and beverage items to guests. To serve all foods in the manner specified in food service specification. To assist guests at all times and to use suggestive selling to guests. To be fully aware of how to operate the Micros system. As a F & B assistant, the essential skills required: Creates Enthusiasm: Operating with a good deal of energy, intensity and emotional expression.
