Join our One Great Team here at Haven
as a Food and Beverage Shift Leader , where you'll support the daily operations across our bar, restaurant, and other food venues. If you're an effective supervisor with a commitment to delivering memorable guest and owner experiences, this role could be the ideal opportunity for you!
Key Responsibilities
Oversee shifts across the bar, restaurant, and other food venues, ensuring smooth operations and a memorable guest and owner experience. Supervise and support team members, providing on-the-ground support and motivating the team to deliver high standards. Monitor food and beverage preparation and presentation, ensuring quality and consistency. Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and compliance with health and safety regulations across all venues. Assist in stock control, including ordering, inventory management, and reducing wastage. Handle guest queries or concerns professionally and efficiently, resolving issues to enhance their experience. Collaborate with the Food and Beverage Managers across the function to implement operational improvements and ensure targets are achieved.
Requirements
Previous experience in food and beverage operations, with supervisory experience seen as beneficial. Proficient organisational skills and capability to efficiently oversee a variety of tasks, with the ability to thrive in a demanding environment. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to inspire and oversee a team. Knowledge of food hygiene, health and safety standards, and compliance requirements. A guest-focused approach with a passion for delivering memorable experiences. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
