The Impact You'll Make: As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be overseeing the Breakfast team and service and you will ensure staff works together as a cohesive team, optimizing service and meeting guest needs. Adhering to company safety and security policies, you will maintain high standards of uniform and personal appearance. Your role includes welcoming and acknowledging guests, anticipating and addressing their service needs, and fostering positive working relationships with your team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the smooth running of the Food & Beverage department, allocating daily tasks.
- Coach, guide, and train new and current staff to meet team objectives.
- Ensure full product knowledge of all menus within food & beverage departments.
- Maintain high service standards in all food & beverage departments to meet set starters and goals.
- Conduct detailed supervisor handovers and complete daily reports.
- Ensure the security and safe handling of all equipment and responsible departmental pay-ins.
- Adhere to and enforce safety policies, ensuring proper safety instructions are followed.
- Cover Person on Duty Shifts.
Who We Are Looking For: We seek an enthusiastic, motivated individual with experience in a similar role within the hospitality or travel and tourism industry. The ideal candidate is a team player, fast learner, adaptable, and possesses exceptional attention to detail, interpersonal, and communication skills. You should be:
- Proactive and reliable
- Responsible and highly motivated
- Skilled in effective communication and negotiation
- Preferably a Responsible Service of Alcohol or Personal License Holder
- Basic knowledge of cocktails, sprits and wine preferred
