This Medical Education Fellow post is an exciting opportunity for an ST3 or above in the London and KSS Histopathology Training Programme to dedicate 6 months working with Dr Wen Ng at St Thomas’ Hospital in developing innovative training resources aligned to the Histopathology curriculum. The resources will be hosted on the Royal College of Pathologists’ Pathology Portal. Main duties of the job

Aims of Post: • To build an online resource of interactive case-based learning tools relating to the histopathology curriculum, which will be hosted on the Royal College of Pathologists’ Pathology Portal. Duties of Post: The Histopathology trainee will work with Dr Wen Ng at GSTT to develop online training resources relevant to the Histopathology curriculum, which will be developed with the intention of publishing on the Royal College of Pathologists’ Pathology Portal. Qualifications

GMC registration or professional equivalent. Satisfactory progression through training as demonstrated by satisfactory RITA or ARCP outcomes. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

At least ST3 in Histopathology Effective interpersonal skills including good team working Good communication skills, including public speaking and presentation skills. Well organised, with effective time management and good administrative capability. Computer literate, with a working knowledge of Word, Excel, Powerpoint and PathXL An interest in improving the trainee learning experience through resource or guideline development Ability to initiate and sustain a project / activity requiring collaboration Analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills. Knowledge of web design and coding Experience

Current Specialty Trainee in Histopathology in London KSS Teaching experience in either undergraduate or postgraduate education. Peer-reviewed publications Equality and Diversity
