Right at Home South Liverpool is a friendly, local homecare provider which recognises that its employees are its greatest asset. We are looking for friendly, reliable, and ambitious Care Assistants to join our team for morning, lunch, teatime and evening home visits in the Widnes and Runcorn areas including weekends.

We work on a 2 weekly rota basis, week 1 Monday, Tuesday, Saturday & Sunday and week 2 is Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. Working hours are 8 am to 9.30 pm with breaks.

You probably already have the skills and knowledge you need to make a great Care Assistant, but we can offer you the training to enhance and perfect your skills and to take the next step in your career.

Pay rate £12.25 PH

Minimum call times of 1 hour

Care Assistant responsibilities:

Supporting with personal care

Assisting with dressing/undressing

Meal preparation

Shopping

Appointments

Housekeeping

Companionship

Promoting independence

Support with medication

Requirements of a Care Assistant:

Be available for early mornings, afternoon, evenings and weekends (alternate) on a shift pattern

Must hold a full and valid UK or EU driving license and have access to own vehicle

Be entitled to work in the UK

Have a genuine passion to want to help others

You need to have a desire to enhance the lives of our clients and make each day fun and enjoyable. From enjoying good conversation to going out to their favourite shops, we want to make each visit a great one, we want to make a difference every day!

If you have experience as a Caregiver, Support Worker, Carer, former nurse or HCA we would love to hear from you. However, if you do not have experience, we provide full training and encourage candidates from all sectors to apply, for example; retail, hospitality, cabin crew, cleaners, hairdressers, beauticians, the list goes on.
