Personal Care Assistant required to support a female aged 18 years who lives in Ferryhill.
Female Personal Care Assistant preferred as the young person doesn’t respond very well to males.
She can be nervous and quite shy around new people, but can be friendly and loving once she gets to know people.
She has a learning disability, sensory needs, low self-esteem, and autistic traits.
Hours / Wage
4 hours per week at £12 per hour.
Flexible as to when these hours are, but primarily evenings and weekends during term time; can be daytime during the school holidays.
Duties Hours to be used to take the individual out for social activities, opportunities, and shopping to help build her independence.
She has a bus pass for free travel.
Applicants don’t need to drive or have their own car, but this may be beneficial.
No care to be provided in the applicant’s own home.
An enhanced DBS check will be required; the cost of this will be covered by the employer.
