Care Assistant required to support a young female who lives in the Bishop Auckland area.
We are looking for someone to provide support to a young female who had a brain injury some years ago which has impaired her mobility and as a result she uses a wheelchair. She is able to communicate with you.
Hours / Wage:
8 hours per fortnight at £12.00 per hour. We are looking for someone to provide support on alternate Saturdays, for 8 hours. Additional hours may also be available.
Duties: Your role will be to support with social activities, such as going to the pictures, out for meals, bowling, and pottery. You would also need to provide support with going to the bathroom.
Additional Requirements / Information: Experience is preferred but not essential. You will need to have a full driving licence, but a mobility car (automatic) will be used to take the client out. An enhanced DBS will be required, and the employer will cover the cost.
