Your role includes utilizing advanced communication and engagement skills to support individuals' mental, physical and emotional wellbeing. You will collaborate with the support circle to help individuals achieve their life goals. Flexible hours and working patterns are available.
Creative Support , a not-for-profit organization, provides high-quality, person-centered support to individuals with physical disabilities, mental health needs, learning disabilities and other support needs. Our support is tailored to each service user's needs, promoting independence and community engagement.
Professional development includes a comprehensive induction, a level 3 certificate in 'Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care,' and automatic enrolment in the NVQ level 3 diploma in Health and Social Care after the probationary period. Regular supervision and appraisal meetings will help discuss training and development needs.
You must be willing to embrace all aspects of the role, including personal care, domestic tasks and supporting individuals in accessing work, education and social opportunities. We value personal skills and interests, such as sports, outdoor pursuits, creative arts, music and cooking. You will work flexibly on a roster basis, including evenings and weekends. Previous experience is desirable but not essential; a can-do attitude and gumption are what we value most. Payment options include weekly or monthly.
