(we are here to listen to anything you need to say) All of our shifts will be in a nursing home or residential care home environment, and you would be caring for and supporting people who live with Dementia, Mental Health Conditions, Learning Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, Challenging Behaviours, plus more. Some of your daily duties as a carer will be to deliver personal care to male and female residents, perform housekeeping tasks, promote independence where possible, complete necessary paperwork, use manual handling equipment safely, get residents involved with the home’s activities, and provide emotional support, plus more.
