Sociable and good-natured young woman who lives in central Edinburgh seeks caring and supportive female* PA. Flexibility is important plus the ability to work well in a small, friendly team. A person-centred approach is key, and ongoing training will be provided. Musical and creative interests are helpful along with a willingness to learn about simple therapeutic approaches. Good attention to detail is also vital for this role. Two part-time posts available: 25 hours per week and 16 hours per week. Applications are welcome for both posts. Shifts are 24 hours, which include a paid sleepover. There is also a paid-on call which all staff will partake in. *Exemption under Equality Act 2010 About this opportunity

You would be working in a small, friendly team and will build a relationship with the person and her family. The ideal candidate will be someone who has: a creative mind is good at forward planning and using their initiative Our Personal Assistants support people to lead full, active, and socially connected lives, helping them achieve the things that matter to them. Applicants should have, or be willing to work towards, a qualification meeting the standards required for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). What we offer

From 1st April 2024, starting salary:

£12.10 per hour (£24,538 per annum (FTE)), rising to £12.40 per hour (£25,147 FTE). Fantastic training (on full pay)

including enhanced learning in person-centred practice, leadership skills, IT, and other bespoke training courses. SSSC registration

paid for by Thistle. Support to achieve SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care. Support

from regular meetings with your team, Practice Development Facilitator, or Coach. Contributory pension scheme. 30 days of annual leave, increasing by 1 day/year up to 35 days.
