Hours: 21 hours over 3 weekdaysPay: £16.63 per hourArea: Boroughbridge area You will be providing additional support during outings on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday (a total of 21 hours) for a young lady with autism and learning difficulties, working together with a BSL Communication Support Worker.This is a very rewarding role and there is opportunity to practice and improve your BSL. Outings include, Art sessions, swimming, cycling, the Railway Museum, country walks, trips to the seaside with a very sociable, keen learner who likes to share in activities and experiences. You will need:Experience in caring for young adults with autism.A driving licence, a car is provided for outings.An ability to communicate effectively in British Sign Language at Level 1 or aboveThere is a genuine occupational requirement for the holder of this post to be male/female in accordance with the Health and Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and Equality Act 2010.
