Job Responsibilities
Primarily our GPs see patients for standard (MBS 23), long (MBS 36) and mental health (MBS 2715/2717) consultations. According to your preference, you may or may not be involved with procedures that require either the GP alone or some assistance with the practice nurse. Our GPs provide services to DVA and worker’s compensation claimants up to your discretion and according to your relevant qualifications. Work in a low-pressure, friendly, family-owned practice. Choose when you work with flexible working hours anytime from 8:00am – 6:00pm on weekdays, 9:00am – 2:00pm on weekends. Work with highly experienced doctors that have been in the field for 15+ years. We are a family-run medical centre consisting of GPs, registered nurses, allied health, and reception/support staff. We have established a friendly working culture and pride ourselves on providing outstanding care not only to our local area but to the Canberra community and surrounds. We have 4 other doctors that are available to provide support with any difficulties you may experience or any additional opinions you may need. Our patient demographic is wide and varied, reaching multiple suburbs, schools, and workplaces. New patients to the clinic are common; as such, we are looking to hire a new GP to accommodate the high demand of patients. Negotiable, open contract. Fixed percentage of billings. Our standard fee for item number 23 is $95 (increased to $105 on Saturday and $115 for after hours). We can also offer an initial salary as opposed to percentage for the first 6 months if that is preferred. Willing to Sponsor Suitable Overseas Applicants
