Field Based Electrical Engineer (Renewable Energy)

Excellent opportunity for an Electrical Engineer to join a niche, specialised company that has been steadily growing in a highly varied and interesting position offering plenty of on-the-job training and development.
This company designs, installs, and maintains Renewable Energy systems ranging from Hydro to Solar, Wind Power, and Diesel Generators. The projects cover both on and off-grid work, and the company is looking to continue expanding and bringing on new customers requiring innovative and future-proof solutions to their energy requirements.
In this role, you will cover a regional patch working on hydro maintenance, diesel generators & batteries, hydraulic systems, and solar systems for a range of clients within the energy and renewables industry. This role will require stays away from home when needed.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing company within the renewable energy sector, working on technically interesting and bespoke projects, from cradle to grave.
The Role:
Service and maintenance of Hydro, Solar, Battery Storage, Diesel Power, and Generators Monday to Friday 40-hour working week Field based 80% of the time with some overnight stays required, office/site based 20% of the time Plenty of on-the-job training provided
The Person: Time Served Electrical Engineer / HNC Qualified Wanting training / progression within the renewables sector Happy to stay away when needed Experience working on generators, engines, with hydraulics, on hydro or solar equipment all beneficial
