There is now a requirement for an IT Field Engineer to join the team. The successful candidate will develop and become competent in supporting all the company’s products.
Field Engineer - North
Location:
Manchester/Liverpool/Newcastle
Salary:
£35,000 - £40,000
Car Allowance:
£350 per month
Travel:
Around 4 nights a month overnight stays – all costs reimbursed
Benefits:
23 days holiday + bank holidays, rising 1 day a year for 5 years.
About the Role
The role entails supporting clients on a variety of platforms & systems, including Mitel, Aruba, Cisco, and others. Our client base includes some of the largest hotel chains in the country, including Marriott, Best Western, Hilton, and Holiday Inn.
Excellent communication skills and a professional approach are vital as you will be interacting with customers daily. You will have a good understanding of customer networks, VOIP, wi-fi, DHCP, DNS, and more.
Travel Requirements:
The successful candidate will be required to travel from home to customer sites across Manchester, Liverpool, Newcastle, and Scotland.
Requirements - Preferred but not essential:
Experience with the Mitel Platform
Experience with general VoIP/SIP concepts
Experience with general IT Networking, Cisco, DNS, DHCP
Experience with Aruba Wi-Fi solutions
Experience with Switches, Routers, and Networks
