Field Laboratory Technician
to join its team in
Aston Clinton.
We test ground and soil samples with the very latest technology to support our construction sector clients to find cost-effective solutions for their building projects. This role will involve working out on site obtaining various soil and construction material samples and testing them in-situ. Consideration will be given to experienced field technicians and also those without experience as full training will be provided. What we do need is for you to have a clean UK driving license and a desire to work outdoors in all weathers. This is a
full-time

Key Responsibilities: On-site sampling and testing of various construction materials e.g., soils, aggregates, concrete and asphalt Completion of test sheets and data entry onto tablets Liaising with senior members of staff on work schedules and testing procedures Working within in-house quality assurance systems Maintain high levels of health and safety in line with company policies Your Qualifications: GCSE Maths and English or equivalent About You: Essential Clean UK driving licence Good communication skills - both written and verbal Manual handling and physical activity are daily requirements – samples can weigh in excess of 20kg Confident to work in a team environment Self-motivated, proactive and able to organise your own workload Previous experience in a UKAS accredited testing environment in a similar role Knowledge of testing standards and processes CSCS card Salary & Benefits: Basic salary is c£26,000 but will depend on the level of experience.
