Field Network & Systems Engineers for projects in the EU

(candidate be based in any EU countries). Both companies come together under the same umbrella called KCP Network. Who are we looking for? We are looking for an Experienced Network & Systems Engineer to develop and maintain functional and secure networks. You will mentor a team of engineers to troubleshoot and optimize our networks for our users. In this role, you should have excellent problem-solving skills and thorough knowledge of network administration and architecture. If you’re also passionate about security and data protection, we’d like to meet you. Your goal will be to establish networks that cater to customer needs. Please be aware that for this job position, we can only consider candidates who have the legal right to work in the UK. Regrettably, sponsorship opportunities are not available for this role. Responsibilities

Designing and implementing new network solutions and/or improving the efficiency of current networks Installing, configuring, and supporting network equipment including routers, proxy servers, switches, DNS, and DHCP Configuring firewalls, routing, and switching to maximize network efficiency and security Design and deploy functional networks (LAN, WLAN, WAN) Analyze and diagnose network problems for a variety of users Network Audits WiFi Surveys and troubleshooting Configure and install software, servers, routers, and other network devices Monitor network performance and integrity Resolve issues tiers of support have escalated by troubleshooting cloud and local infrastructure Automate tasks and monitor their effectiveness Mentor team members on technical issues/Support for network deployments Terminating, testing, and fault finding of CAT5/6/7 network cabling and Optical cabling Communicate with users when needed Maintain complete technical documentation Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability Minimum Requirements

Industry-related experience as a Network Engineer or Network Administrator Professional certification desirable (e.g. CCNA) Solid background in network administration and architecture In-depth understanding of communication protocols (mainly TCP/IP) Experience in managing and supporting WAN, LAN, TCP/IP, Firewalls, Routers, and Switches and troubleshooting these devices Server OS administration Windows Servers Microsoft Exchange (Install/Configure/troubleshooting) Windows desktop (Install/Configure/troubleshooting) Good Knowledge and Experience of SCCM Group and policy management Azure/Intune/Autopilot, Active Directory, Azure AD Experience Installing, terminating, testing, and fault-finding network cabling Experience installing network cabinets and network equipment Hands-on experience with PC/server hardware, switches, routers Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools (e.g. SolarWinds network tools) Sharp troubleshooting skills Ability to work independently Organizational and mentoring skills Full Clean Valid UK Driving License This role is primarily field based, so travelling to clients sites will be required.
