Job Description

What you will do As Field Operations Data Analyst, you will undertake critical operational data management, analytics and reporting to support the continued development of field operations excellence for the EMEALA Service business of $2B revenue and extended support to the systems/install business of $2.3B revenue. You’ll ensure continuity of critical data sets with regular updates; fault find and execute or manage corrective actions where data errors and issues impact effective analytic and planning processes. You’ll develop data models and dashboards and reporting to deliver operational insights to functional and business leaders to support the growth in volume and profitability of the EMEALA Service business; deliver analytics and reporting supporting both regular cadence requirements and ad hoc business needs. You’ll maintain a regular cadence of on critical business reporting including headcount, productivity, COGs and absorption, and BCC/EC reporting; maintain regular updates of Integrated Business Planning (IBP) data sets, in particular supporting demand and capacity planning processes You will collaborate with Global Field Operations to align EMEALA and Global data and reporting structures and partner with the business across EMEALA and globally to ensure strategic alignment and efficient operations. Challenge the status quo with proactive identification of opportunities to leverage data analytics, including leveraging machine learning and AI, to derive business insights to drive business results How you will do it Deliver and maintain common data sets supporting core field excellence processes Design and deliver effective, user-friendly dashboards to improve transparency of key datapoints and performance metrics to enable decision making and action planning Deliver regular reporting and insights to meet EMEALA and global cadence requirements Produce ad hoc analysis and insights to support demand from business leaders in EMEALA and GFO. Define, build and deliver effective and consistent productivity reporting across EMEALA field operations Define, build and deliver effective and consistent headcount reporting across EMEALA field operations Leverage best practice opportunities with global stakeholders while ensuring EMEALA requirements relating to operational data and analytics are met Deploy regular maintenance to maintain data integrity, continuity and compliance with respect to data and analytics Proactively identify opportunities to leverage advanced analytics e.g. machine learning and AI, to advance both the effectiveness and efficiency of the analytics function What we look for Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university Skilled in use of analytic and visualisation tools (PowerBI in particular) Working knowledge of database tools and languages including SQL, Snowflake Working knowledge of data governance, data processing, model design and model-building phases (e.g., enterprise model, algorithm design, model refinement) on physical, distributed systems and cloud hosted environments Able to work effectively in a matrix organization structure. Good cultural awareness and ability to navigate a diverse international organisation Understanding of field operations with ability to identify and leverage relevant data points Able to execute developmental, continuous improvement initiatives including with cross functional project teams Sensitive to change management and able to effectively engage stakeholders in introducing and deploying change Good communication skills with the ability to succinctly convey insights and relevance to business leaders Effective presentation skills with ability to support with the use effective visual aids Ability to define and interpret data standards and compliance requirements Analytical and process oriented. Lean / Six Sigma certified (preferred) Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Power point software
