The Redline group have an exciting new opportunity to work with an excellent company, to lead the development of an extensive portfolio of electro-mechanical products, used within a wide range of market sectors, including Industrial and Rail.

My client is looking for an experienced and results-driven Field Sales Engineer, who will work a hybrid sales role, managing existing customers, and developing and winning in new business.

The ideal candidate will have a technical background, excellent sales skills, and field sales experience, covering the UK. This will be a remote/field based role, with fortnightly visits to the Buckinghamshire office. National and some international travel is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities for this Field Sales Engineer:

Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively seeking new business opportunities. Conduct thorough market research to identify potential customers and market trends within the aerospace and defence sectors. Provide technical expertise and guidance to clients, helping them select the right electromechanical solutions to meet their needs. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.

Skills/Experience Required for this Field Sales Engineer:

Technical qualifications within engineering is ideal. Proven experience in business development and field sales with electromechanical products. Experience in providing advisory support to customers in developing tailored solutions. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Technical background with experience in selling technical products or a commercial background with experience in selling complex technical products and services.
