The principal purpose of this role is to get sales leads (name, email, phone) for our sales team to convert into customers; we do this on the doorstep, at train stations and other private sites and events. You will positively promote our company, increasing awareness of Lightning Fibre in our target areas, using a range of techniques to deliver the leads required for our sales team to generate our revenue targets. Our friendly, professional in-house community engagers have excellent interpersonal skills, a strong background in sales, tenacity and the ability to provide good quality information on a range of services. Ultimately, a high-quality community engager is someone who can relate to and connect with people face-to-face and promote the company’s services without coming across as aggressive or pushy. Sales experience Ability to work outdoors, to walk and stand for long periods Ability to sometimes work after-hours and at weekends Ability to travel within an approx 40-mile radius Full driving licence Responsibilities:

Travelling to specific canvassing locations (within an approx 40-mile radius) Approaching and talking to people about the company: in shopping centres, on the street, and at their homes Letter/leaflet dropping (door to door) Answering questions about the company and service Obtaining personal contact information Careful and accurate recording of personal details while adhering to data protection regulations Maintaining a professional appearance and behaviour Producing accurate time sheets Community Action, e.g., litter picking and beach cleans Cleaning street cabinets and removing graffiti Experience and Personal Attributes:
