Field Service Engineer – Forestry & Recycling – Southwest UK

What’s on offer

  • £17-£21.50 per hour, based on experience
  • Regular overtime opportunities at increased rate
  • Overtime on Monday – Saturday paid at 1.33 x hourly rate
  • Overtime on Sundays and Bank Holiday paid at 1.66 x hourly rate
  • 22 days holiday per year

What’s involved in the role

  • Carrying out work on Forestry & Recycling machinery
  • Engine work
  • Hydraulic builds
  • Electrics
  • Fitting of components
  • Servicing
  • Attending breakdowns
  • General maintenance work


What you will need

  • Time served experience working on Forestry and/or Recycling machinery
  • Hard working ethic with an understanding and experience of completing ‘price work’ to a high standard
  • Relevant experience and knowledge of servicing/maintaining heavy equipment
  • Commercially minded and astute with a ‘get the job done’ attitude
  • Good time management skills and able to estimate and hit target labour times
  • Must possess a good work ethic and able to work on their own
  • Based within a commutable distance to location
  • Willingness to go above and beyond, enthusiastic towards their work and the brand reputation
  • Wants to grow with the company and embrace the variation on work, industry & location
  • Wants to be part of a dynamic team and make a difference
  • Positive and responsible with a solutions-based attitude
