Overview:

Field Service Engineer required by an industry-leading manufacturing company, based in Andover. The successful Field Service Engineer will be responsible for installing equipment at customers' sites both in the UK and internationally and providing support to customers with operation, service, and maintenance. Also supporting with testing of new products.

Main Duties:

Carrying out installation of equipment and product support at customer sites. Offering technical assistance and promptly responding to customer enquiries. Developing comprehensive training materials to facilitate smooth operation of new equipment. Carrying out service, maintenance, and repair of equipment. Collaborating on qualification and testing of new products. Maintaining and updating technical records and information.

Qualifications: A recognised qualification in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronic Engineering or equivalent experience. Previous experience of operating mechanical test equipment. Proficient with fault finding and repair of electromechanical systems. Able to read technical drawings and schematics. The ability to work on own initiative and with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills. Flexibility to travel nationally and internationally on a regular basis.
