The role would suit an individual who is looking to advance their career in engineering/IT and gain hands-on experience in a thriving and supportive workplace.
If you have experience in and enjoy general PC hardware and software maintenance, working with Windows operating systems, or generally enjoy taking things apart, mending, and putting them back together again, this could be a great opportunity for you.
Experience mending white goods also has great transferable skills for this role, and equally, a good level of mechanical/electrical aptitude is ideal for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnosing faults, making repairs, and replacing modules on ATMs. Installation, maintenance, and repairs on equipment within an assigned territory to ensure continuity of customer operations and high levels of customer satisfaction. Take responsibility and ownership of customer problems or incidents until the situation has been resolved to the customer's satisfaction and in compliance with agreed-upon Service Level Agreements.
Candidate Requirements:
Able to work on your own with minimal supervision and manage your time effectively and proactively. Good level of mechanical/electrical aptitude. Experience preferred with Windows operating systems. Experience preferred in break/fix, IT, computer/mechanical repair, and basic computer hardware and software knowledge, but full training will be provided to the right candidate. Enjoys taking things apart and putting them back together. Good problem-solving skills. Ability to work well under pressure. Full UK driving licence.
There are shift patterns, though they are very reasonable: 5 days working, 2 days off, with a day off either side if working over the weekend.
Typical shift hours are: 7am - 4pm 8am - 5pm 9am - 6pm 12pm - 9pm
This role comes with a company vehicle which can be used for personal use and a fuel card. Tools/laptop/Android phone and all other required tools are provided. Uniform and PPE are also provided. Excellent company benefits include 30 days holiday per year (including bank holidays).
