45 hours per week, Monday to Friday Salary:

42,000 - 45,000 p.a. depending on experience + company vehicle + fuel card + overtime + excellent company benefits. Are you an Engineer with auto electrical experience and looking for a new challenge? We are seeking an Engineer to join our client's team at a pivotal time in the company's journey as they evolve to meet the future safety needs of buses and coaches. The successful candidate will be eager to learn a fascinating role involving mechanical and electrical systems and the ability to fault find. You will predominantly survey and install Electrical kits to buses and coaches. You will work on a field basis covering the whole of the UK and will be provided with full training. Although initially a 12-month fixed term contract there are likely to be further opportunities beyond this. The Role: Travel to customers' sites across England, Scotland, Wales, and Ireland to conduct installation surveys. Thoroughly complete all necessary installation survey paperwork. Carry out the initial installation in accordance with the manufacturers' guidelines, including making any required electrical connections. Test and calibrate the equipment to ensure optimum performance. Work efficiently to ensure the tasks are completed within the specified time frame. Auditing of the electrical kits that have been implemented on the buses/coaches. Maintain a strong focus on quality, environmental responsibility, and health and safety, continuously striving for improvement and working without compromise to meet our customers' needs. Experience Required: Knowledge on auto electrics and electrical wiring on. Able to use a variety of hand tools, such as a multimeter. Basic IT skills for inputting data into a system. Flexibility with shifts as some evening work may be required from time to time.
