Field Service Engineer

Field Service Engineer Leading independent Laboratory Equipment Provider Cambridgeshire - GBP36,000 - GBP40,000 + Company Car + 20 days holiday + bank rising to 25 with service + Christmas shutdown + Pension + No weekend or bank holiday working or call outs. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be expected to travel throughout Cambridgeshire and perform a mixture of on-site service, preventative maintenance, calibration, repair, and installation of centrifuges, incubators, pumps, vacuum concentrators, and agitators within hospitals, universities, and research establishments. You will also be responsible for completing service reports and calibration certificates. To be successful in this role, you will possess a mechanical aptitude, the ability to follow strict instructions in a thorough and methodical manner, and have previous experience working within a field service or engineering-based role. Individuals with previous experience of working on laboratory equipment, medical equipment, dental equipment, autoclaves, weighing scales, photocopiers, compressors, refrigerators, or within a PAT testing capacity would be of distinct interest, though not essential as full product training is provided. You will possess a full UK driving licence, be happy to travel on business with overnight stays, and demonstrate strong written communication and customer service skills.
