Field Service Engineer , you will be part of the team bringing the awesome Zzoomm experience to new customers across a designated region. Working as part of an experienced field service engineering team, you'll play a vital role by installing Zzoomm’s full fibre network into customers’ premises. You will also be part of the team that fixes service issues, ensuring customers enjoy the awesome Zzoomm experience. Your key responsibilities as a Field Service Engineer are... Surveying and agreeing on the installation route for customers and making sure they understand and are comfortable with the work that you’ll be doing. Installing and testing our equipment, extending the Zzoomm network from the boundary, and joining it all up for the full fibre experience. Once the job is complete, you’ll explain how everything works to the customer, answering any questions they may have along the way. As a face of our company, we’ll look to you to develop strong relationships with those you meet within the community, living and breathing our ROAR company values (Responsible, Open, Agile and Reliable). Skills & experience required to do this role... At least 1 year of experience in customer Fibre Broadband Installations. A fantastic customer focus and a desire to do a great job for our customers. Great communication skills and a positive can-do attitude. A clean UK driving licence. BT Openreach PIA accreditations SA001 (Safety OH), SA002 (Safety UG), S7 (PIA Sub Duct and Cable Installation UG), S8 ( PIA Overhead Cable Installation ). Knowledge of the Openreach PIA network quality standards. Pride in doing a great job, and a desire to learn and develop new skills. A technical mind when it comes to understanding modern-day devices.
