Overview Opportunity to work for a leading coffee and tea distributor. We are seeking an experienced and skilled Service Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess an existing technical background in engineering and a passion for delivering exceptional service to our clients. Within this role, you are responsible for the installation, service, and maintenance of Traditional & Bean 2 Cup coffee machines, grinders, hot water boilers, and water filter management. Role and Responsibilities Install, commission, and set up coffee equipment. Perform pre-planned and reactive maintenance. Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment. Maintain accurate records of service visits, including diagnostics, repairs, and completed tasks. Maintain van stock and replenish as required from stores. Document stock usage and report shortages. Carry out familiarization and cleaning training with end users. In addition to these functions, you may be required to carry out other duties as may be reasonably required. Hours of Work The company’s standard working hours are 8.30 am – 5.00 pm with a 30-minute unpaid lunch. Hours will be flexible to suit site requirements, averaging 40 hours per week. Occasional overnight stays may be required. Role Requirements To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate: Strong electro-mechanical knowledge. Proven experience in repairing and maintaining coffee machines or similar vending equipment. Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to client sites. Commitment to delivering high-quality service with a customer-first approach. Excellent organizational skills and ability to deal with changing demands. Excellent customer service skills. Good written and verbal communication skills. IT Literacy. The ability to work as part of a team and a willingness to help others. Ability to work independently. Strong attention to detail. Professional and polite manner. A positive and friendly manner. Desirable skills and attributes, but not essential Reach / Forklift truck certificate. No agencies please Job Types:
